Our program relies on live online discussions. Participants are expected to complete all reading materials and have a stable internet connection that supports Zoom meetings with 1 facilitator and ~8-10 participants.

Camera Requirements

Since these are small groups, having your camera on is essential for group interaction. You're expected to keep your camera on throughout the 90-minute discussion sessions. While we understand you may occasionally need to turn it off briefly, cameras should be on for the majority of each session.

Full Engagement Expected

We expect your full attention during discussions. Please don't join while commuting or multitasking. If you have availability issues for one or two sessions, you can request a temporary cohort change.

AI Note-Takers and Recording Tools

Please don't use AI transcription or note-taking tools (like Otter.ai, Fireflies, or similar) during sessions. These tools capture participants' names and discussions without their consent, which raises privacy concerns for other group members.

If an AI note-taker attempts to join your session, your facilitator will remove it from the meeting. If you'd like to take notes, we encourage you to do so manually.

Participation

Facilitators work to ensure everyone contributes to discussions. If you haven't shared your thoughts, your facilitator will invite you to participate. While we recognize participants have different activity levels, our facilitators are trained to create space for everyone to share their perspectives on the readings and topics discussed.

Connectivity Issues

If your facilitator notices you're having trouble engaging due to poor connectivity, we'll reach out to discuss your situation. We may ask you to stop attending sessions.
