Program Details
- This program is organised by EA Virtual Programs, part of the Centre for Effective Altruism.
- This program will run from October 14th to November 24th, 2024, for 6 weeks and will consist of 1.5-hour facilitator-led group discussions with a cohort of 4-8 participants. We'll try to put people together in groups with other similar career goals so that you have more shared context.
- Note that facilitators are there to guide the discussion and check everyone’s reasoning, but shouldn’t be treated as a career advisor.
- Before attending each session discussion, you’ll complete some brief readings about how to have a high-impact career and work on your personal career planning.
- Before each session, you are expected to do 1.5 hours of preparation, consisting of readings and answering questions in a template.
- This pilot round also includes a follow-up group call 4 weeks after the last discussion session. Although this follow-up call is not strictly mandatory for completion of the program, we strongly encourage participants to attend since we expect it to be helpful for accountability and for reviewing your programs and updating them wherever necessary.
