This Liability Waiver & Release Form (the “Agreement”) is between Effective Ventures Foundation (UK) (“EV UK”), Effective Ventures Foundation USA, Inc. (“EV US”) (EV UK and EV US collectively “EV”), and you. The Agreement is being entered into in consideration of the benefit of participating in any EV sponsored event (each, an “Event”). You hereby agree to the following:
- Voluntary Participation and Assumption of Risk. You understand and confirm that participation in any Event offered by EV is voluntary. You understand and acknowledge that there may be potential risks involved related to participation in the Event. You assume all risks, known and unknown, in any way connected with participation in the Event. You acknowledge that participation in the Event is at your own risk.
- Release of Claims. You release EV and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, representatives, agents, volunteers, and permitted assigns (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all liability or claims which may arise from your participation in the Event including, but not limited to, personal property loss, damage to personal property, and personal injuries or even death, whether arising out of the ordinary negligence of EV or any Releasees or otherwise.
